Production Lines
Define production lines and machines, maintain productivity cycles, and see total capacity alongside work orders tied to each line.

Overview
Production Lines is where you model manufacturing resources — lines, machines, shifts, and productivity cycles that roll up into total monthly capacity. The dashboard counts lines and machines, shows work orders linked to lines, and highlights exceptions that need attention.
Capacity comes from machine productivity records; keep them current or planning and the Production Control line cards will understate or overstate what you can build. Seven-day trends tie work orders and MPS activity back to line load.
Key Capabilities
Production lines
Organize the shop into lines with linked machines and orders.
Machines
Equipment master with detail for each asset on a line.
Shifts
Shift definitions that drive scheduling and reporting.
Productivity cycles
Output rates that feed total capacity calculations.
Exception strip
Manufacturing signals when line or machine issues need action.
Line reports
Load, downtime, and capacity summaries by line.
Task Assignment Catalog
The Task Assignment Catalog connects workflow events in this module — documents submitted or approved, thresholds crossed, lifecycle handoffs — to the people who should act next. When an event fires, PerfectoERP assigns follow-up tasks, sends in-app notifications, or both, according to each catalog entry. Teams collaborate through My Desk instead of polling lists or chasing status in email.
Production line stopped
Notification
A production line reported downtime. Dispatch maintenance.
Default recipients
- Notification → Maintenance Supervisor
Default routing is customizable per catalog entry — add job functions or individual users, or disable tasks or notifications in Configure.
Interface Showcase

Line and machine counts, capacity rollup, and shortcuts into resource maintenance.
Connected Modules
Production Control
Active orders grouped by line.
Planning
Plan against real capacity.
Quality Control
Inspect output from each line.
Ready to model real capacity?
Keep machine productivity current so capacity planning and the production overview reflect what the shop can actually deliver.
