Journal Memo-Builder

In the “Journal Memo-Builder” part in the Accounting screen, allows the user to set some parameters to show specific memos when a journal is made.

In the “Journal Memo-Builder” part in the Accounting screen, allows the user to set some parameters to show specific memos when a journal is made.

We can start this part by clicking the “New” button in the toolbar of the “Journal Memo-Builder” screen.

A new screen will appear containing the number of the document, the “Document Type”, the criteria that the user has to specify to complete this document and finally the memo which the user wants to write.

Then after posting the record, this record is transferred to the “Journals” screen which contains all the posted records made by the user.

Example:
to set the “Document Type” as “Purchase Order” and the criteria is whenever a Purchase Order is made and the “New Inventory” Inventory is chosen.

Then the user has to “Save” this document and then close.

After that we go to “Purchase Order” and try to make a new Purchasing Order with choosing the “New Inventory” inventory to check the memo builder.

After “Saving and posting” this record we go to the “Unposted Journals” and post this record, then we go to the “Journals” and as we see here in the last record made, the description is the same as the Memo we specified in the Memo Builder Before.
